Beauty by the Book
a six-week study by Laurie Cole
If you’ve never participated in an online study before, here’s how it will work. Basically you read, watch and comment.
- Read the appropriate pages in your workbook as you do your homework each week.
- Watch the corresponding FREE online teaching video by Laurie.
- Then leave a comment on the blog in response to each week’s discussion question.
It’s that simple!
Participate by yourself or with a friend. Either way, you won’t be alone! You’ll have the whole cyber small group participating along with you!

I am so excited. Our church did this study but not to its greatest potential. We will have a small group coming together to do the online study. I am shooting for a couple of college students as well. I know they will probably get more from the teen study. I will do that one too!

Can’t wait to do this study with you all. I am a missionary wife and it will be a blessing to be a part of a study as a student. I still need to learn as well as teach. I bought the book a while back to use when I finished another study. I am about done with that study and ready to start this study! Isn’t the Lord wonderful in His timing?

I am really excited! I have completed The Temple Bible Study by Laurie Cole, and she came and did the “Princess Warrior’ talk at our womens retreat this last year. I think this is a great way to get all us women together in a great way to give glory to God! You Glo Girl!

Pray with me that I would have the courage to lead your Bible study with our youth girls. I have a huge burden for young girls that they understand the truths of this study. I think the best way is to involve the Mom’s and daughters right. Like you I have only boys. Seems my house is full of boys most of the time. Truly love this study… Thank you for sharing God’s word in this wonderful way.

The link for week 5 to post a blog comment never opened up to post comments for the Captivating woman. But I wanted to share with all that I was speaking to a dear friend who is married and telling her about the books that were suggested and she is now listening to the entire series on-line. I am not married and therefore I am not in an intimate relationship with anyone. But I was able to help answer some of her questions on how to reconnect with her husband. She felt their intimate relationship was the only thing that was going right and everything else was just sputtering along so to speak. I told her to stop trying to change him and change herself–how she reacts to them, how she praises him, etc… etc… and see if a positive change in their relationship comes about that way. She reported that she did see small changes occurring in him. Thanks so much for giving us an Rx for keeping our mates captivated & as you said “Intoxicated” with us.
