My grannie held onto me by prayer, admonishment with love, example, & with “much” encouragement!! But I know she gave me to God every single day, knowing, that it would ultimately be Him that I should & would lean on. Then, there was another Christian lady that God put SMACK in the middle of my mess, who was JUST THERE for me. In little & BIG ways, at a phone call she was THERE. Then as I begin to make a total & full commitment to give God “”complete control”" over my life there, finally, was & is my church home & family. There are way too many sweet, precious & gentle souls that I’ve been able to talk to, ask questions, dispair with, be in a panic with, & rejoiced & praised with. Thankfully, now, Ive become that shoulder to cry on, hand to reach out to, paniced phone call to & just plain laughing & loving in & through Christ each day as I endeavor to follow Christ in HIS ways. Thank You Father God!!!! And “Thank You Laurie” for beng one of them along with the other Glo-girls who’ve shared with me, (directly & indirectly), their pearls of wisdom.

  2. Thank you for this reminder that we are too encourage, support and be patience with immature and irresponsible members of the body. As a ministry leader I have to remember that growing new leaders means setting reasonable expectations but also following this three step principle of encouragement, support and patience.
