  1. I am praying for u Laurie.. It’s so great to see and hear u again, even with no make-up, you’re beautiful! I just love u! I was at the women’s retreat last yr in Murrieta.. I was so blessed by your teachings and maybe u could pray that I be faithful in putting that armor on daily, I must b honest, ive not been diligent in that! So God bless u and may the Holy Spirit lead and guide u thru the completion of this new study. I can completely relate on the perfectionism.. I am the same way! I am looking forward to this new study u r working on and being tht disciple God has called all of us to be!

    Blessings to u,
    Jeana

    • How cool to hear from you, Jeana! Perfectionism sometimes sounds like a really good thing . . . but you and I know better don’t we. :) Give my love to the Calvary Chino glo girls. Love to you!

  2. Laurie, you are a truly a woman of the Lord. You have no idea that your Porch talk verbalized exactly what I am going through today. I need to put together a little talk that I am giving at my church at the end of the month. I keep trying to get everything just right before I can begin. Laurie I will be praying for you and please pray for me! I can’t wait for your next book on discipleship! I have enjoyed facilitating the Beauty by the Book for the past two years and I know I will enjoy your new book!

I love your sweet spirit and your willingness to be open and transparent. I will be praying for this new study and that you will rest in His provision as you work through all the details of this study and put pen to paper and ink to pages that when you get to the end you know for certain this was His project through you and you would have comfort in that assurance. Love you, Joanie
